Dear Hiring Manager:

Could you use a high-energy, creative salon professional who appreciates the vital link between well-trained, motivated personnel and increased company profits? If so, I would enjoy speaking with you to discuss how my skills and experience might strengthen your organization.

With more than 20 years in the cosmetology industry, I recently made a short-term move from "behind the chair" to a training and management position at Hair Club for Men. As has always been my nature, I met this new challenge head-on. I am proud to say that, through expert training and motivational team building, my contributions have proven instrumental in positioning the Falls Church, Virginia, center as a leader in the corporation for sales and service.

I discovered that I not only love personnel training but also am good at it! My current manager credits me with being "an integral part of changing the way the < HCM > seasoned stylist thinks when it comes to what is best for the client."

I feel I have taken advantage of all that my current position has to offer and am ready to push my career to the next level as a full-time Trainer or Manager. I am very open to a geographic move and amenable to travel.

My resume is pasted below. I have also attached, for your convenience, a copy in Word 2000 format. This will provide you with some additional information about my background.

Please phone or email me at the address or numbers printed above. I look forward to talking with you!

Sincerely,

Marianne M. Clark
